Axeda is seeking talented professionals to support Axeda's growth strategy by filling the role of Product Manager for Axeda?s products and services. The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager?s job also includes ensuring that the product and service supports the company?s overall strategy and goals.Specific Responsibilities Include:
Define the strategy and roadmap for assigned products and services.
Assess opportunities against market requirements and strategic goals to produce business cases for R&D investments.
Establish use cases and prioritized feature requirements for product development and service delivery teams.
Work closely with Axeda?s Engineering and OnDemand service organization to deliver M2M products and services.
Assess potential third party partnerships and licensing opportunities.
Produce white papers and other materials to increase adoption of Axeda?s products and services.
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
Understand competing solutions to articulate, maintain and enhance Axeda?s competitive advantages.
Act as a leader within the company.
Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
5+ years of product management experience in a relevant industry or product line.
First-hand experience with all aspects of the software product management and product marketing lifecycle, including market research, product definition, pricing and competitive analysis.
Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills and experience.
Excellent analytic skills and attention to detail.
Technical background and proven ability to work with complex technical products and services.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Experience in wireless connectivity, carrier integration, reporting and analytics, SaaS operations, and M2M are valuable.
Ability to manage projects and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Education:
Bachelor?s degree required, preferably in a technical discipline.
