TitleProduct Manager Bid Manager DSP/Programmatic
Lead the creation of buy-side programmatic trading technologies/demand side platform (DSP), from inception and requirements gathering, to design, review, QA, release and marketing.
Own the roadmap for all aspects of Vindico?s Bid Manager (VBM), and update it with input from executives, and other internal/external sources. Integrate VBM workflow-wise to Vindico?s Ad Server, and continue tight integration with Vindico?s Viewability/Verification product Adtricity.
Monitor competitive offerings in the video, display and audio DSP markets, generate strategic new product ideas, and keep relevant individuals abreast of new competitive products, and marketplace shifts (M&A).
Organize requirements, and lead the definition of prioritized deliverables working hand-in-glove with internal (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product, Media Operations, Engineering, Data Warehouse, and IT), and external (Agency Trading Desks, Agencies, Ad Networks) parties.
Design solutions, track their delivery milestones by project managing dependencies with Engineering and other facets of the technical environment, QA and release your products.
Work with Product Marketing and Marketing on building collateral, enable the production of user documentation, and the training of Operations and external clients on the use of the product.
Perform other duties as instructed.
RequirementsSkills, Qualifications, education and certifications:
Extensive product management experience and fluency in writing Product Requirement and Design Documents (3 years).
Past success managing complex internet software development cycles, and API/spec integrations, within medium to large organizations.
Technical knowledge of online video and display advertising, and awareness of monetization concepts (2 years). Technical understanding of mobile ad serving ecosystem.
Solid understanding of Ad Networks, Exchanges, Real-time Bidding, Demand Side Platforms, Supply Side Platforms, Data Management Platforms, 2nd price auctions, 1st and 3rd party ad servers, cookies and privacy concerns, etc.
BA/BS, with degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related discipline preferred.
Emphasis on data-driven decision making, detail-orientation, task prioritization, excellence in planning and organizing, analytical thinking and creative problem solving.
Natural leadership skills, ability to influence others towards desired direction, great written communication skills, empathy, emotional maturity and team work.
