Our business and customer base is growing at an exciting and rapid pace. To further fuel this growth, we are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join our team.
The Product Manager governs existing service-based products as well as creating and integrating new offerings and changes throughout Peak 10. In this role, the Product Manager conducts margin analysis, industry/market research, and in-life performance measurement to determine service demand, positioning, viability, and profitability. The Product Manager will create formal business cases and service descriptions and will work as a facilitator between the various internal teams to ensure offering policy and processes are negotiated, documented, and executed accurately. The Product Manager leads meetings and discussions centered on system and operational requirements for offering changes and new service development. The Product Manager preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in reaction to the application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes developed to support the new product or product change.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Manage in-life product performance: sales, margin, churn, customer satisfaction, and service levels, conducting extensive numerical analysis using company data.
Identify and present innovative and creative product solutions.
Project management of all product integration/launches/changes throughout implementation.
Identify the business and operational requirements based upon the business requirements & objectives of each product.
Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal organizations.
Lead the development, approval, training, and communication of new products/product changes and their associated customer, operational, system, & process impacts to the various internal organizations.
Develop & conduct specialized training on new products launched and raise awareness & application of relevant subject matter.
Monitor internal processes for efficiency and validity pre & post product launch/changes.
Provide support for other departmental projects as needed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position is based in Charlotte, NC.And the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in computer science, business, marketing, engineering, science is a strong plus
Two to five years marketing/product development/sales engineering and or IT service provider experience preferred
Two to five years of spreadsheet-based numerical analysis
Experience in product development, strategic planning, and implementation preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Experience with as many of the following technologies as possible:
Cloud computing / virtualization
Operating System Environments (Windows Server and Linux specifically)
Application Servers (Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft SharePoint, LAMP, SAP, Websphere, etc.)
Networking (switching, routing, load balancing)
Network Security (firewalls, intrusion detection, VPN, multifactor authentication, etc.)
Enterprise storage (fiber channel, network attached storage, storage area network, NFS)
Data protection (backup, restore, disaster recovery, archive)
Vendor/partner management (e.g. Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, EMC, etc.)
Advanced spreadsheet and numerical analysis (business cases, margin and cash flow analysis)
Ability to write and deliver training courses and materials
Ability to exercise tact and good interpersonal
Ability to be pro-active with a sense of urgency
Ability to read, understand and communicate technical documentation
Be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast paced environment that is continually changing
