At Apparel Media, the Product Manager drives the iterative process of ?productizing? the various services our platform can provide through continuous design, deployment and continuous improvement of a menu of solutions available to our clients (marketers and their agencies) and the software product suite used by clients and our team to monitor deployment and performance of those solutions. The end client ?product? revolves around our hosted software platforms and encompasses the full range of elements that comprise a successful client experience. Thus, the Product Manager works continuously with Engineering, Sales and Operations throughout the product lifecycle to ensure revenue and client satisfaction goals are met.
We're looking for an innovative Product Manager who can help our team strike a balance between the importance of meeting and exceeding client goals dictated by theie own unique business objectives and the needs and wants of other key constituents within the Apparel Media system (printer partners and most importantly, end-consumers).
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
The product manager will serve as the leader of a cross functional internal and external team of software developers, project managers, product engineers, interface designers, marketers, graphic artists, account managers, sales executives and printer partners to lead, coordinate, and supervise their work toward the end goal of creating a complete product that will meet and exceed client expectations
Deploy a product development and innovation process to ensure that we are not just developing a view of data, but creating a differentiated product interface and contextual views that create high value insights for clients; that clients will want to interact with and continue to use
Ensure that the client product is user-friendly for clients and embodies the balance between richness, simplicity and fun that drives stickiness and delight
The Product Manager has overall responsibility from product direction and strategy to the writing of specifications for single feature sets:
Setting strategic direction based on customer needs and business goals
Defining and planning the product roadmap
Taking the lead in establishing tactical plans and objectives for the product
Serving as the client product representative to internal and external clients
Developing and implementing administrative and operational process and tools to ensure timely achievement of product deliverables
Embedding relevant branding into the client product, working with graphic designers to create look and feel, defining navigational flow and user experience, defining feature sets and scoping releases
Interface with clients to gather requirements and synthesize their input into innovation and improvement of the client product
Build a deep understanding of how clients use the product as well as insight into how they would like to use the product

QUALIFICATIONS
5 to 8 years experience in SaaS product development and marketing program/campaign design and execution (agency "creative" team experience)
Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or Computer Science or related business experience
Demonstrated understanding of software as a service technology and business models, the process of product/software development, and the development and implementation of marketing/branding campaigns and programs
Experience with optimizing SaaS user experience and branding initiatives and strong user experience (software and hardware) sensibilities
Understand currently accepted and evolving interface standards for cloud products across devices
