The role of the Claims Applications Product Manager is to lead the introduction of and manage the ongoing roadmap for the NaviNet Open Claims Management applications including Claim Status Inquiry, Claim Submission and Adjustment, Claim Investigation, Remittance, and Patient Financial Settlement. The Product Management team at NaviNet is responsible for optimizing the capabilities needed by four classes of platform consumer:
Application providers (businesses, including NaviNet, that choose to deploy on the platform)
Operators (people who run, maintain the platform and applications on it)
Developers (people who want to build on / integrate with the platform)
End users (provider office staff who leverage the platform and applications to perform their work)
(in order to be considered for this position, the individual must be able to perform essential functions listed below):
Regularly gather requirements from our three classes of consumer.
Decompose inter-dependent needs into sequenced, actionable product requirements.
Propose the ?aspirational? roadmap and partner with Engineering to determine best technical implementation and execution sequence.
Help Engineering with priorities and time / scope trade-off decisions.
Conduct product change impact assessment
Lead the planning for migrations & upgrades
Partner with other product managers to support initiative launch planning and execution.
Create, capture, and share knowledge using internal knowledge management and communication tools.
Deliver thought leadership to NaviNet staff through updates and presentations.
All other duties as assigned.

Contribute to managing activities of outsourced software development partner

Demonstrable aptitude for managing the full product development lifecycle
Expertise in the healthcare claims and revenue cycle management space either as a product manager or senior business analyst.
Working knowledge of ASCII X12 HIPAA transaction sets.
BS in computer science, information systems or computer related field.
Excellent technical abilities and analytical skills, with deep understanding of the Internet, developer tools and platform space.
Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
Ability to evangelize NaviNet?s product strategy to internal and external audiences.
Great organizational skills and a ?get things done? attitude.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, networking, presentation and negotiation skills.
