Product Manager, Consumer Communications
Trulia is looking for a talented product manager who can help us grow and engage our large consumer audience of buyers, renters, owners, and sellers. As a Product Manager on the Consumer Product Team, you will play a critical role in driving repeat visits of our 30+million monthly unique visitors via behavior-based email programs, mobile notifications, and other consumer outreach.
Your primary responsibility will be to identify, launch, and optimize email programs, mobile push notifications and other mobile alerts (e.g., app badging), working closely with the product and marketing teams. Email and mobile notifications â€" and the product features they're connected to â€" are central to our consumer value proposition and comprise many of our best tools for bringing users back to our website and mobile apps. As part of your job, you will come up with creative ideas for product-driven consumer communications, clearly articulate use cases that will be solved with those ideas, and deliver product updates and communications campaigns in a rapid, agile innovation environment. In this role, you will have the freedom, ownership, and resources to turn your ideas into great products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record running successful, high volume, high frequency email programs for web and/or mobile applications, familiarity with customer development and agile development processes, a deep metrics-driven obsession with achievement, demonstrable results building consumer audience and engagement for both startup and legacy products, strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent team skills to ship and iterate new products quickly, and a passion for creating differentiated products and elegant but effective user experiences.
