Description-This position may reside in Portland, OR or Denver, CO-Product management of the Dark Fiber Product line with accountability for driving dark fiber product growth and other related performance targets including product profitability, customer satisfaction, and availability. Setting the business plan for product growth, owning achievement of key product performance metrics, and managing execution of the business plan across the 4 P?s of marketing (Product, Pricing, Placement, and Promotion). Provides recommendations on the overall short term and long term product strategy, business plan, and roadmap. Drives development of new products to support the growth plans and revenue generations.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. At least 2 years of progressive experience in product management, including 5 years experience in telecom or IT services product management or finance. Proven ability to excel in a fast growth, dynamic and growth oriented organization. Excellent working knowledge of dark fiber industry including
?Fiber Infrastructure (Metro and Longhaul) including colocation and power requirements
?Dark Fiber market segments and applications
?Market trends and demands
?Short or long term lease options (capital lease/IRU)
?Cost and pricing analysis and development
?Contract negotiations
