Product Manager: Ecosystem Partners Xora

Job Description

Xora is looking for a world class product leader to evolve, enhance and manage core elements of its product portfolio through strategic partnerships. This high-profile role within the company is a unique opportunity for talented product leaders to redefine the state of the art, shake up the competitive landscape, and ultimately reshape the industry for B2B mobile and in-vehicle applications.

Leveraging your strength in developing and managing partner relationships, and your experience within the mobile applications, GIS / LBS industries, MRM and fleet management, you will have ownership of the product definition and market delivery mechanism for your product area. This includes wireless carriers, resellers and distribution partners, in-vehicle solutions and partners, integrations products, 3rd party product components, etc. You will drive buy vs. build decisions, evaluate 3rd party solutions, issue RFIs/RFPs to potential suppliers and manage the development of related Xora-built application components.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with your Product Management and Engineering counterparts to define product release requirements. You will work with Marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channels and key customers.
Qualifications and Skills Required:

At least 4 years of experience as a product manager for B2B software solutions
A track record of successfully building alliance relationships and partner ecosystems with major information technology industry players
Extensive knowledge of the GPS device, mobile handset and wireless communications market players & dynamics
Experience with developer programs, SDK/API product management is a plus
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science, MBA preferred
Strong project management skills, able to span across departments and organizations
Able to understand the big picture while at the same time being very details oriented
Exceptional sense of commitment
Excellent communications ability, verbal and written, at all levels
