Location and Reporting Relationship:
AngioScore is based in Fremont, California. The position reports to the Director, Global Marketing.
Purpose of Job
The Product Manager is responsible for managing the commercial and marketing aspects of a portfolio of products. The product manager works in cooperation with the internal team and the field sales organization to develop/commercialize products and manage them through the entire lifecycle.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Continually develop and evaluate product growth/evolution strategies by engaging in direct interaction with physicians, sales leaders, and internal teams.
Effectively communicate the product vision both externally and internally to customers, sales force, internal teams, and distributors.
Provide ongoing support and expertise to the sales organization and distribution channels by developing, implementing, and monitoring promotional and educational tools.
Collect and analyze information on competitive product offerings including features/benefits, competitive advantages/disadvantages, and pricing. Develop and execute comprehensive competitive response plans.
Actively participate on product development project teams as a core team member responsible for the marketing deliverables through all phases of design control.
Plan and execute product launches including pre-launch activities and post launch follow-up and support.
Track and report key product performance indicators during early introduction phase and on an ongoing basis, maintaining an understanding of customer needs and being able to react accordingly when needs change or shift.
Work with outside vendor(s) to manage the corporate website.
Work to enhance and strengthen the AngioScore and AngioSculpt brands.
Contribute to the planning and execution of trade shows and sales meetings.
Actively participate in Sales Training programs.
Work toward developing an in-depth understanding of key business trends and market conditions through market research, clinical literature, coordination with sales force and personal interaction with key customers
Demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality. Understands and complies with all regulations governing the quality systems.
Education Requirements:
An engineering, science or business degree
Experience Requirements:
3-5 years of Product Management experience, specifically within in medical devices field or equivalent. Significant body of knowledge of interventional products, procedures and market trends.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally be able to lift 10 ? 15 pounds.
Other Qualifications:
Excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal and group presentation skills are mandatory. Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a cross-functional team environment. Ability to lead people toward a common goal. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing innovative programs that have delivered outstanding results. Highly skilled in developing and managing relationships with key thought leaders within the interventional marketplace. Ability to travel up to 30%.
