Job Description

As a Product Manager at Idera, you will be responsible for exciting and challenging tasks to ensure the increasing profitability of existing or new products solutions for Idera. We are looking for driven, innovative and visionary professionals, with the ability to quickly understand the market trends and apply to the product line and participate in the overall direction of the product line.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Self-directed and able to work confidently and effectively with development teams
Specify product line direction for current and future products by conducting market research and analyzing market trends
Manage one or more product?s life cycle from strategic planning to final approval
Drivie a solution set across one or more development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
Analyze potential partner relationships for the product.
Conduct marketing research to understand competitive landscape, track market trends, and identify product differentiators.
Analyze and document the business case for identified strategic opportunities
Conduct product analysis to identify opportunities to optimize and increase return on investment (ROI) for products already deployed to production.
Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
Work closely with user interface designers to deliver a high standard of usability for products.
Work with developers, system engineers, and QA engineers throughout the product development, testing, and implementation phases to ensure product quality.
Monitor performance and track success metrics of products or features.
Act as main point of contact for any questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding product or feature.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to company processes related to product management, including but not limited to: business case, project proposal process, detailed product requirements, multivariate testing proposal and testing requirements.

Required Skills

Self-directed and able to work confidently and effectively with development teams
A strong passion for product development and interest in customer facing programs
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

Required Experience

1 to 5 years product management experience at a software company or driving IT product management is required
Demonstrated success defining, validating and launching software releases/products preferred
Proven track record in defining and managing product lifecycle
Some technical background or knowledge is required, (SharePoint Server knowledge is ideal)
Bachelor?s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is desired
