As Product Manager of Insecticides/Nematicides you will provide knowledge, strategy and leadership for our growing product portfolio and market segments, and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on both our company?s growth and the future of sustainable agriculture.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis and positioning for upcoming product launches of insecticides and nematicides.
Interact with Supply Chain, Regulatory, R&D, Product Development and Sales Departments to ensure product formulations, labeling, registrations, product supply and demand, competitive pricing and sales support are in place to optimize customer satisfaction and value to MBI?s business.
Develop pricing and packaging strategies.
Plan, design, develop and execute marketing plans to meet and exceed budgeted sales and profit goals. Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates MBI products in the market. Identify product and market opportunities to grow MBI?s business.
Work with outside agencies and internal resources to develop innovative and effective marketing/sales communications methods and content to maximize customer interest in MBI and its products.
Provide market analyses and reports, and communicate product positioning, value proposition and marketing objectives to Management and Sales. Develop the sales tools that support the selling process.
Develop, monitor and update product forecasts, marketing and financial plans.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers and industry peers, in concert with the sales team, to gain market insights and enhance overall customer relationships with MBI.

Qualifications and Characteristics
Minimum Bachelor?s degree required, preferably with a concentration in agriculture or related field of business.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the plant protection industry required, preferably in multiple roles and markets and with insecticide and nematicides. Ideal candidate will have both sales and product management experience and knowledge of both chemical and biopesticide markets.
Experience in market analysis, forecasting, budget planning, and communications management skills required, including working with advertising & PR agencies.
Demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution of marketing strategies.
Ability to coordinate and interact with other departments to shape and achieve marketing goals without formal authority.
Creativity, leadership, strategic thinking and excellent written and oral communications skills required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
The salary range is competitive.
