Movius Interactive Corporation is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Johns Creek office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the product vision and roadmap in the areas of Voice/Video/Data Convergence applications to expand Movius? leadership position today in the Converged Messaging space in the mobile internet era. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
The Product Manager will report directly to the CTO.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
The ideal candidate will be expected to:
Become the subject matter expert (SME) for the assigned solution/product suite.
Support the Sales Teams (Domestically & Internationally) in solution presentations.
Define product strategies and roadmaps for assigned portfolio and related products.
Coordinate and articulate both Technical & Commercial market conditions internally between company departments.
Coordinate with other members of the Product Team to define and execute cross-product initiatives.
Develop product definition and solution plans to optimize the company?s products and services portfolio, including the risks that are associated.
Drive product?s end user experience and usability.
Apply broad knowledge of the company?s product/service capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product/service opportunities.
Be able to demonstrate and articulate specific examples of sales and customer engagement, for the dual purpose of supporting sales activities and defining/refining Market Requirements.
Evaluates in-depth market analysis and leads business case for optimization of existing products/solutions alternatives and/or to create the next generation of new products.
Oversees the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share.
Deliver Market and Technical Solution/Product Requirement Documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
Have demonstrable experience in providing direction to cross functional teams without formal authority.
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product.
Engage with customers to demonstrate product capabilities.
Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
Work with marketing to develop sales tools and collateral.
Brief and train the sales force at scheduled sales meetings and on an ongoing basis.
Manage time schedules and overall product delivery.
Manage the complete product lifecycle include definition, development, deployment, sustaining, and end of life stages of a product.
Be able to work independently as and when required.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science; MBA preferred.
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Product Manager or related role, such as Sales Engineering
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong domain knowledge of network architecture, including IMS, SS7 and SIP signaling, Instant Messaging (IM).
Experience working with wireless & wire line technologies, preferably with a wireless/wire line vendor.
Strong technical background with experience in IP, web technologies and mobile applications; Video/Social Networking experience is a big plus.
Minimum 4 years of experience working in the Web/Internet or wireless/wire line domain.
Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
