The Adtrix team is focused on building and operating innovative product solutions that range from the central consolidation of data from multiple channel platforms to the support of Adknowledge?s Publisher Platform, critical to the operations of multiple business channels. The products developed and managed by the team are used by finance, sales, channel operations, technology operations, as well as senior executives.
The team consists of software engineers and financial analysts and is located in our Corporate office in Kansas City. This position would report to the Director of FP&A, working in strong partnership with the Manager of the Adtrix team.
In this highly visible role, you will focus on new technologies and programs that keep Adknowledge ahead of the competition and the successful execution of some of our central critical business initiatives. You will engage with senior executives, including the CFO and CEO, and other leaders across the organization to create the product roadmap, and then will have responsibility for managing development and other projects through completion. Primary duties include:
Product Strategy and Roadmap Development: direct product development strategy. Identify and prioritize key products and enhancements required to meet stakeholders? needs. Partner with the Adtrix Manager to evaluate development requirements and dependencies.
Executive Product Oversight: responsible for the management of product?s lifecycle. Review project proposal, define requirements, create detailed project plan, and define quality and associated measures; manage timing and quality of delivery to these expectations.
Project Management and Process Improvement: coordinate project completion across functions, holding status meetings and assigning action items. Communicate progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders; collaborate with stakeholders, process owners, and development partners across the organization to remove roadblocks and optimize business processes.
Implementation Management: Perform key functions to complete product implementations, including quality assurance testing, training, and evangelism for the completed product. Establish SLA?s for ongoing support and maintenance.
Agile Project Management Support: utilize project management tools to translate quarterly roadmap plan into weekly Agile development goals. Support the scrum master (Adtrix Manager) in daily scrums, and partner together to complete weekly sprints. Manage task-level planning within Agile tools to create necessary focus and pacing for development.
Product and Executive Ambassador: represent both senior executives and the products. Disseminate information and communicate ideas on behalf of the Adtrix team and its leadership Take initial meetings with outside parties for screening purposes or as a representative of the engineering team for greater accessibility.
The successful candidate will be an inspiring, organized and confident leader with at least:
Bachelors Degree in a related field
At least 5 years? experience in a senior project technical role within infrastructure and/or software development
At least 5 years? product development management experience
At least 2 years? experience leading the implementation of programming interface applications
Demonstrated ability to work well with and earn the respect of engineering, sales, customer service, finance
Proven ability to understand drivers of the business to prioritize product requirements and roadmap
Expert understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle, including Agile/Scrum methodologies
Able to effectively leverage technologies and practices to coordinate day to day tasks, while building and working to execute longer term plans
Experience in the digital advertising industry a plus

There are several key measurements of success the candidate will use to benchmark growth including:
Effectiveness in translating stakeholder needs and technical requirements into a roadmap plan that is aggressive, but achievable.
Effectiveness in communication to managers and stakeholders regarding progress and actions being taken as roadblocks occur.
Efficiencies achieved by development team, through improved definition in requirements and coordination of assigned actions.
Improved success in product launches, through more complete quality reviews, and training/communication associated with launch
Better management understanding and faster decision making.
Improved business processes and coordination of cross-functional activities.
