Job Description
Infusionsoft Product Managers work very closely with Interaction Designers and product developers to plan and execute product development cycles. Product managers lead the team in identifying "target users" and the benefits they are seeking with Infusionsoft. Product managers then work closely with design and PD teams to translate benefits into actionable designs and user stories. The Product Manager is also a key participant in strategic work that relates to defining the product vision. The Product Manager will also work closely with sales, training, and support to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager will also develop a thorough understanding of competitive products in the marketplace and their associated capabilities. On a day-to-day basis the Product Manager (PM) is expected to work directly with the development team assigned to the PM to ensure that: questions are answered, deliverables are correct, and timelines are adhered to. The PM is also expected to author version logs as well as any help documentation related to the product enhancements.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead product throughout all stages of life cycle (conception, definition, development, release, and post-release activities)
Direct ongoing market research and gather market requirements to ensure the product continues to meet customer needs
Provide product knowledge and positioning to ensure that all areas - Sales Center, Customer Support Center, Marketing, Implementation, etc. - have the necessary materials, tools and education to maintain and increase revenue
Monitor projects assigned for a given release to ensure that they are designed as expected and completed according to schedule
Coordinate with product development team in reviewing project requirements and the creation of project summary documentation to assist in project scope overview and estimation
Seek to clearly understand the needs and requests of the customer through data mining, customer interviews, and on-site agency visits
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
1-3 years product management experience preferred but not required. Candidates with technical support, quality assurance, or other experienced with the software development lifecycle are welcome to apply
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills required
The ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and priorities is also required
Proficient with Windows, spreadsheets and word processing programs
Ideal Qualifications:
Knowledge of Infusionsoft software
Strong SEO/SEM methodolgy
Strong Management Skills
Familiarity with the Agile development process and SCRUM
Ability to work harmoniously in small groups
Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter
