GENERAL PURPOSE: The Product Manager will oversee MTN strategic products for the Business Units Cruise, Commercial and Yacht. They will manage all activities from market analysis, building the business case, work across teams and project manage the steps to bring a product to market. As a lead product owner, the product manager will also be responsible for monthly/quarterly revenue updates following launch and ongoing updates/upgrades schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Work across product suites to encourage the creation of end-to-end solutions which increase our value and deepen our penetration within key segments of the industry.
Work with counter-parts within business units to foster the development of more tightly integrated solutions
Specify business requirements for current and future products by conducting market research, customer feedback, surveys, etc.
Identify competitive offerings and perform analysis on their key product capabilities and overall success
Manage product revenue growth, profitability through the development and implementation of marketing programs, positioning & messaging and product take rate activities
Drive product roadmaps, illustrating the vision of the product, including top-level requirements, key milestones, and release plans
Work with cross functional teams to establish a pricing model, schedules and negotiating parameters
Track metrics to determine the success of products, including market share, actual to planned revenue, customer satisfaction and product profitability
Work with product marketing to analyze market research, identify market problems, perform market sizing, determine product positioning and external messaging, understand the user and buyer personas for products and support the sales process
Other duties/responsibilities as may be assigned.
NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS: This position will report to the Director of Marketing. Interacts with all levels of internal and external contacts: Vendors, distributors, suppliers, creative service organizations, etc.
TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS Degree in Marketing or related discipline
5+ years of product management experience for a software or services company
Strong knowledge of portfolio management solutions
Ability to work across multiple product suites
5+ years in a professional office environment
Strong communication and presentation skills

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS: Office environment. Some domestic/international travel may be required. Extensive computer work.
