Product Manager, Mobile Kongregate
As a Product Manager on the Kongregate mobile team, your mission is to maximize the business success of our portfolio of mobile games. Your primary responsibility will be analyzing data and building recommendations to improve all aspects of free-to-play games, from the features that drive monetization and retention, to the analysis necessary to drive profitable paid user acquisition. You will work with our producers to help them gain a deeper understanding of how users are behaving in their games, and provide them with market insights and game features designed to improve retention and monetization. You will work with our marketing team to analyze marketing campaigns, player retention and virality and help guide budget allocations across networks. You will work with our marketing vendors to optimize creatives and campaigns across their publisher base.
The ideal candidate is an avid game player, understands mobile game design and product best practices, and has an inherent love of analytics and data.
Collect and analyze game data and provide recommendations and feature designs to the production team that will improve retention and monetization
Analyze user acquisition campaigns and work with vendors to optimize spend across creatives, publishers and apps
Assist with the design and implementation of schemas for tracking game events and data
Keen analytical mind that thrives in a metrics driven environment
Basic understanding of user acquisition and growth best practices including channel analytics, funnel management, and platform utilization
Familiarity with free-to-play game products and their best practices; hardcore products preferred
Strong Excel and SQL Skills
Quantitative Bachelor?s degree recommended (Engineering, Math, Economics, etc.)
Passion for the mobile games business
Familiarity with mobile user acquisition networks and analytics: AdX, HasOffers, TapJoy, Flurry etc.
Familiarity with analytics platforms and products: Tableau, Leanplum, etc.
