Product Manager, Monetization ngmoco
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Ngmoco is looking for a seasoned Product Manager to help shape the monetization platform of Mobage, a growing worldwide mobile social gaming platform.
This Product Manager will work closely with the product management, engineering, and game development teams to determine requirements for features, build and communicate road maps and evangelize the monetization platform to internal teams and external development partners.
This position is a rare opportunity to join a team of product managers, UX designers, and engineers building a cutting-edge product offering and software system. This role is a great fit for someone who excels at understanding deep technical concepts & software system infrastructure and designing a simple customer experience that takes advantage of it.
Own and guide the monetization platform from definition through deployment. This includes:
Understanding and driving the strategic importance of a robust payment platform.
Building, managing, and communicating a product roadmap
Gathering and documenting product requirements from a variety of customers, and our analytics tools.
Providing designs, specs and solutions that exceed competitive offerings and leverage our technology stack to be the first to deliver new capabilities to market.
Working with UI Designers to mockup UX into wireframes that can be handed off to engineering.
Effectively communicating them to implementation teams, uphold quality standard and make decisions.
Analyzing and iterating on features based upon deep analytics insight and customer understanding.
Prioritizing additional requirements effectively in an environment where there are rapid changes and many asks. Integrates game and analytics roadmap dates and requirements into Platform Roadmap.
Manage cross functional dependencies ensuring that partners understand timelines, requirements, and product offerings.
Own messaging for financial offerings and create materials to assist in communication with game developers.
Responsibility for creation of Marketing Material, aka Demos/Walkthroughs.
Tracks Customer Feedback Forums and JIRA bugs filed.
5 years product and project management experience working on large-scale web-based software or monetization products. Experience with social platforms is a huge plus.
Excellent leadership skills along with a customer service personality, ability to create action via influence, and the ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside ngmoco.
Expertise explaining technical concepts to non-technical teams.
Proven track record of delivering excellent work while multi-tasking in a competitive, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Proven success in cross group collaboration, defining ambiguous problems and creating solutions.
B.S. in Computer Science or Statistics strongly preferred.
Fluency English and Japanese is a plus.
