Find out everything we could be doing - work with sales, marketing, & customers to understand opportunities for new features and capabilities
Know what everyone else is doing - track and analyze competitive offerings, understand trends and emerging technologies and their impact on the business
Decide what we should do - work with stakeholders to size and prioritize options, analyze the options using ROI/CBA/TAM and other acronyms, stick your neck out with recommendations
Convince others that your crazy ideas actually make sense
Make it happen - be the best friend to engineering and QA to guarantee they make you look good by delivering what you wanted when you need it, bribing them with pizza and caffeine as often as needed

5 years product management experience
Strong understanding of e-commerce, social media, retail inventory management, search engine marketing, and web analytics.
Experience with Agile development processes, particularly in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.
Experience managing an e-commerce operation, or interactive marketing, a plus.
Energetic self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit. Experience starting and leading new initiatives.
Excellent communication skills

Required Experience
What you'll need to be?
A guru on how stuff gets sold over the Internet (eCommerce, social media, search engines, analytics, retail inventory management, digital media, etc).
Someone who has lived in the cloud of SAAS, but always keeps their feet moving on the ground
A tactical strategist (or is it strategic tactician) who can cut their way through a dense jungle to sniff out the hidden treasure. And you'll have to make others want to follow you into that jungle - convincing someone to risk yellow fever, malaria, and whatever else the jungle holds ain't easy
Someone who doesn't make or take excuses. The buck stops there (or here, or wherever you happen to be standing at the moment).
A communicator and marketer who can give Shakespeare, Carnegie, and Jobs a run for their money. Nothing you say will matter if others don't get on-board.
An agile person who likes working agile processes in an agile company in an agile market. Things are pretty agile around here.
Multi-lingual in that you can talk to engineers, marketers, analysts, and sales and have them all understand you. It also helps if they don't end up thinking you're crazy.
