THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Product Manager, Music & Entertainment Services will drive new product development for music and entertainment services across the company?s B2B and B2C platforms. The ideal candidate has experience crafting and delivering interactive entertainment experiences for consumers, including strong fluency in the world of digital music, gaming and mobile. He/she will work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to pioneer new products for the company?s out-of-home entertainment delivery platform while supporting existing products.
This position will report to the SVP of Product Management, and will work closely with engineering, marketing, advertising and other internal teams, including other product managers, to craft business cases, define requirements and guide development of new user experiences for the TouchTunes network. Candidates with a background in online advertising are a plus.
5-10 years of work experience in Online and/or Mobile Product Management
Experience developing product requirements and launching interactive Entertainment experiences and digital content to consumers; out-of-home experience a plus
Background managing consumer-facing products in one or more of the following categories: Digital Music, Gaming, Social products, Mobile content.
Solid understanding of the online music industry and advertising platforms
Strong consumer instincts with an eye for clean user experience
Experience developing business cases for developing new consumer products that are monetized via advertising, e-commerce (e.g., paid downloads) and subscriptions, including basic forecasting of user adoption, conversion and churn rates
Ability to distill input from multiple stakeholders into detailed product requirements (PRDs and/or User Stories) and wireframes
Experience with agile and waterfall development approaches
Technical aptitude and an ability to communicate effectively with software developers
Understanding of the Mobile landscape and platforms, including technical capabilities and feature limitations of each
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to package and present product strategies in concise presentations
4-year degree required; MBA a plus
Lead R&D of new interactive experiences for consumers, including market research and product ideation, concepting and wireframing
Craft business cases assessing market opportunity and business model for new products; use market analysis, best practices, traffic metrics, emerging trends and lessons learned from previous projects to produce superior user experiences
Produce documentation, including business and product requirements (PRDs and/or User Stories)
Collaborate with visual designers and manage usability testing to deliver world-class user experiences
Communicate product vision, strategy and execution details to executives and stakeholders in written summaries and visual presentations
Manage the entire lifecycle of products, from ideation to launch to ongoing operation and performance
Mentor/guide junior product managers within organization
