AxialMarket is an online, multi-sided network for buyers, lenders to, and sellers of private companies. AxialMarket combines real-time, online interaction and networking tools with workflow, recommendation systems, and real-time analytics. We?re transforming how private companies get financed and sold.As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining, launching, and analyzing product features for the AxialMarket platform. You will be responsible for developing ideas into functional requirements, UI and site diagrams, and performing market research with our customers. Your goal is to build functionality such that when users see it, they are blown away by and describe our products as ?perfect,? ?delightful,? and ?innovative?.
You?re a great candidate if you have these qualities:
You don?t necessarily have prior ?product? experience, but you have experience in startups and technology companies
You are a meticulous and comprehensive thinker?the itty bitty details and nuances matter to you, as does the ?big picture?
You are passionate and unabashed about the products you love and when someone asks you ?what do you love about them?? you can go on? and on? and on?
You are frustrated by products that could be great, but that miss the mark in ways that are completely obvious to you
You are a student of human behavior, intrigued by the motivations behind the decisions people make and always asking ?why??
You care about how something works but also about how it looks and feels
You have a creative streak
You?re good to work with: friendly, focused, productive, you learn quickly, enjoy teaching others, a direct and professional communicator
