Product Manager Outbrain
The Outbrain Product Team is growing. Outbrain is seeking a New York based Product Manager who will work day-to-day with top publishers, internal business teams and an enthusiastic group of developers in an agile environment. Like, all Outbrain employees, we are a group of individuals who are passionate about recommending the most interesting pieces of content on the Internet to millions of people, every day. We like to get things done and have fun doing it.
The right person for this role will help with planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering product requirements; working closely with Global Account Management, Sales and Marketing groups to ensure the development efforts support their goals; understanding customers? business goals (and interpreting them into product features); working closely with the engineering groups from planning to delivery; ensuring proper training on newly released features, and most importantly ? enjoying every minute of it.

Responsibilities
Continuously plan and execute on a product roadmap (we are a continuous deployment shop)
Listen to customer problems and ideate on solutions
Create short product specifications, user stories (we are not big fans of PRDs and MRDs) and wireframes
Drive product development lifecycle and ensure high quality product delivery
Track product metrics, customer feedback and internal feedback and make data driven decisions accordingly
Be able to effectively communicate with local and remote teams
Travel to gather feedback from clients and internal teams abroad
Work with marketing on go-to-market plans
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships or integrations
Qualifications
4 years+ experience as a Product Manager in internet/digital media
Knowledge of internet technology (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and server side technologies)
Excellent understanding of and advocate of great user experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated success launching high quality technology products
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Insightful, innovative and adapts well to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
EXCELLENT communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written), a team player
Very familiar with online advertising and/or publishing
