What it?s about SecondMarket is looking for a passionate Product person to join our growing team in Manhattan. SecondMarket is changing the way that companies look at employee equity and connecting accredited investors with new types of investments.
What you?ll do
Drive product strategy for one of our consumer-facing products
Have a hand in changing how investors interact with a new type of investment
Act as the Product Owner for one of our development teams (Scrum-type Team)
Work on a team with engineering, user-experience (UX), quality assurance to deliver business value
Interact with the various business stakeholders (Legal, Compliance) to define and prioritize product features
What you?ve done
3+ years or equivalent experience building great products
Exceptional understanding of the product development process and how to make users happy
Experience working in Big Tech (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Yahoo, etc.)
Worked deeply with technology for a long period or earned a technical degree
Proven to be someone that is self-directed and gets things done
Made data-driven decisions and in a quantitative environment
Acted as a positive influence in an environment of debate and constructive criticism
