Product Manager, On-Demand Ping Identity

We are looking for a business athlete that is ready to change the identity industry. The preferred candidate will have a background in computer science and/or business, with experience in Cloud computing and/or SaaS solutions. An MBA and/or a CS degree preferred but not required. At least 5 years of experience as a product manager or as a sales engineer is required. As OnDemand product manager, you will engage with customers to understand detailed use cases and drive requirements into OnDemand devops team. Ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced environment and can make quick decisions. OnDemand product manager is required to analyze data from various inputs and arrive at objective recommendations. You will have an opportunity to interact with key stakeholders and have an opportunity to drive a significant portion of OnDemand product portfolio.
Identity key product features to enable Identity Providers to integrate with OnDemand products
Understand, document and communicate customer scenarios and technical requirements and act as a technical expert on customer use cases
Set and validate pricing for various OnDemand components
Define packaging of features for OnDemand products
Work closely with Devops team on developing product epics and user stories
Measure and manage SaaS metrics to drive business growth
Work closely with sales team to identify product barriers to sell and aggressively eliminate the barriers.
Work closely with marketing team to provide input into product positioning, messaging and key value proposition
Work closely with CTO office on emerging identity trends and help drive product innovation
Project manage various deliverables to ensure successful product delivery
Previous experience in a customer facing roles (sales engineer, technical product manager or field support) for a software product offering
Experience with product managing or selling SaaS infrastructure applications.
Experience working with a continuous deployment organization
Demonstrated experience working with devops team
Experience with REST APIs and general understanding of emerging development technologies
Experience with and understanding of mid market customers
The successful candidate is comfortable with moving through gray areas to a supportable position or stance.
