Then we want you to be our Senior Product Manager!
The Product Manager creates a meaningful product vision and maintains end-to-end oversight for a set of products critical to helping libraries successfully deliver against their mission of being central to the research process.
Some of the things that you will be doing:
Driver: Drive the launch of new products
Meaningful Planner: Create and execute meaningful product plans that span the entire product lifecycle
Deep Diver: Define new features and functionality in collaboration with the development team; taking into account user needs, customer requirements, market direction, and competitive priorities
Mover & Shaker: Develops, leads and participates in presentations, both internally and at vendor, client, and industry events
Data Guru: Advance pricing models and business cases, drawing upon market research, data analysis and other resources to support and justify product decisions
Never Satisfied With Status Quo: Evaluate, disseminate, and integrate new opportunities, standards, specifications, and technologies as they relate to the product
What you will have experience with:
Bachelor?s degree or higher in related field, PLUS at least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated ability to create effective product requirements documents, use cases, and implementation plans is essential.
Excellent research, quantitative analysis, and problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze, compare, evaluate, reconcile and order data
Ability to develop meaningful business cases and deliver compelling presentations; with well-developed verbal and written communication skills

Experience managing a web based content rich application
Background with ebooks or in the publishing industries
Experience working with web analytics
