Product Manager - Partner and Product Development Rave Mobile Safety
Rave Mobile Safety is a leading provider of software products for the public safety industry. Rave?s products are offered on a software-as-a-service basis and keep millions of people safe. Rave now seeks a result driven, self-motivated Product Manager to further the capabilities of our software platform, and lead our Partner Program. The Rave Partner Program is an ecosystem which helps 3rd parties leverage Rave?s growing API suite. The right candidate will have an opportunity to apply and develop their skills in an exciting entrepreneurial environment, while taking pride in knowing their efforts help protect and save lives.Key Responsibilities
Serving as a product manager to identify, design, and oversee the delivery of new features and feature enhancements within the Rave product suite.
Developing detailed specifications for both user-facing and back-end features.
Acting as the advocate for the products you own across Rave?s Product, Software Development, QA, Marketing and Sales organizations.
Working with Rave?s UX experts to ensure developed features meet Rave style guides and embody Rave?s reputation for usability excellence.
Taking ownership of, and driving the Rave API strategy, and shape the resulting roadmap with internal stakeholders.
Defining the business model to turn Rave API Partner Program into a self sustaining and profitable business.
Developing the processes to attract, onboard, and support 3rd party organizations who wish to integrate with Rave?s product suite.
Identifying and cultivating key partner relationships which further Rave?s impact on the Public Safety industry.
Developing and maintaining Rave API and partner program documentation.
Participating in industry groups and standards bodies as they relate to Rave?s API program.
Developing deep expertise in Public Safety and the related Rave products.
Required Skills
Bachelor of Science degree in a technology related field (or equivalent industry experience).
Minimum 5 years in Software Product Management or Software Delivery.
Experience across the entire development lifecycle, from requirements specification through production support.
Experience in a design and/or development role supporting a Software-as-a-Service product.
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills; excellent collaboration and group leadership skills.
Exceptional organizational skills. Attention to detail a must.
Demonstrated ability to exert influence and deliver on capabilities without having direct control over all participating resources.
Ability to organize product launches, including the tenacity to drive issue resolution to completion. Must possess the interest and the ability required to create and adapt to new technologies
Exhibit a passion for excellence and high productivity, motivated by providing Rave?s customers? with an excellent experience.
Ability to thrive amongst ambiguity and make qualitative judgments.
Demonstrated creative and independent problem solving skills.

Public Safety or Telecommunications industry experience.
Business Development experience.
Prior active participation in industry groups and/or software standards organizations.
Demonstrated public speaking and thought leadership.
