This PM will need to understand complex requirements from other teams throughout the company, including the needs of our voice, web, api and messaging teams as well as finance and operations departments. You will be responsible for making the decisions that drive how everyone at the company works and how we build the best communication platform on the planet. Your work will directly enable us to fulfill our goal of 99.999% availability on all core services, and ensure that no engineer ever logs into a production machine. Deploying updates and patches to Twilio will be done with the click of a button, and you will wraggle the team to make this happen.
Ideal candidates would have had previous technical/engineering experience and be passionate about cloud computing and scalability. Those candidates with experience in automated testing, build systems and monitoring systems will be considered preferentially. At Twilio we love tinkerers and priority is given to candidates that like to build things even outside their current job functions.

Experience as a software developer - for fun, college, or work. We are looking for someone with a technical bent to communicate with our internal engineers and engineering management, as well as our engineering-focused customers.
You are a person who thrives in a fast moving environment with a heavy dose of ambiguity. Your job will be to bring clarity amidst chaos.
No experience in telecom is required. Do you love solving problems? That?s what we want.
Hands on. Passionate. Persistent. Creative. Easy to deal with. Get things done. High personal productivity: you are a doer first.
