DescriptionAs a member of the ExactTarget Product Development group, you will join a team of designers, developers and SQA engineers who are experts in the latest software development technologies who work in an environment of singularly enormous scale.
The Sites & Communities team is looking for highly motivated cross disciplined individuals. This role is specifically looking for individuals that have both strong Product Manager / Product Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the success of ExactTarget?s Community & Sites products in the market. This will include developing a deep understanding of the market, the competitive landscape, ExactTarget products and technology and appropriate market segments.
Activities will include Product Positioning, Internal and External Launch Plans and Sales Enablement. The successful candidate will work closely with the product management teams, the direct selling force and the marketing communications team to accurately position ExactTarget solutions in the marketplace and assist our sales team in accelerating the sales cycle.
?Leading Story Mapping sessions with all aspects of the organization.
?Driving Strategic direction and developing Roadmap
?Understanding and articulating the user cases and experience
?Responsibilities span messaging and positioning, pricing and packaging, sales enablement, competitive intelligence and product evangelism.
?Conduct customer and market research: customer interviews, survey feedback, win/loss reports, and competitive analysis.
?Own and drive feature delivery end-to-end: create story maps, write user stories, work with user experience on usability testing, prototypes and wireframes, produce requirements, attend development stand ups, review test plans and documentation, collaborate with project management on release planning.
?Monitor and collaborate with customers using the ExactTarget 3sixty community identifying quick wins and future features for our community and Sites product line.
?Serve as the subject matter expert for all customer facing documentation including product sell sheets, website copy and white papers. Work with Marketing Communications department on the development of these tools.
?Work across marketing, sales, services, legal, finance, and operations teams to solve challenges required for successful product launches
?Work closely with the sales enablement organization to create sales tools for a variety of sales channels. Sales tools can include sales guides, PowerPoint presentations, speaker notes, positioning briefs, and other tools to help your products be successful.
?Develop detailed launch plans to support the internal and external roll out of new solutions and features.
Requirements?Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related area
?Strong problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills
?Working knowledge of Agile and System Development Life Cycle
?Has practiced Story Mapping and Agile driven development
?Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
?Team player that has the ability to work well in a collaborative, team oriented environment, work hard and have fun
?Ability to create a Demo track for all verticals and apply contextual details to Demo audience
?Able to prioritize, be flexible and handle multiple projects with varying deadlines in a multi-task environment
?Extraordinary organizational skills and the ability to follow up on tasks and work across many cross-functional verticals
