Position Summary:
Revinetix, a leading data protection solution provider for SME, education, and government, is looking for a seasoned product manager. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of business and technical savvy with a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. This person enjoys working with customers to understand problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.
The following are common elements of this position. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage the product life cycle of our products from strategic planning to tactical activities
Create the market (MRD) and product (PRD) requirements for current and future products
Develop and manage product roadmaps that align with customer requirements and development resources
Perform business and ROI analysis to ensure that products are both competitive and profitable
Conduct market research supported by customer and non-customer feedback, as well as from sales, customer support, and other company areas
Develop pricing methodology and costing model for products
Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments in the execution phase
Be well informed about current industry trends, data protection problems, solutions and technologies
Develop competitive analysis and strategy
Identify and analyze potential partner relationships for product or technology augmentation
Provide training resources on sell/use features and benefits, including competitive positioning

5-8 years overall product management experience in storage, data protection and cloud service markets
Proven experience managing a product/service from concept through development and launch and then managing ongoing product/service life cycle with demonstrated leadership in cross-functional team environments
Ability to connect department objectives with the strategic objectives of the company
Ability to clearly and persuasively present plans and programs to senior management
Strong analytical and critical analysis skills
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to easily understand technology and communicate it to prospects
Successful candidates will have a bachelors degree in business, computer science or equivalent
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
General office environment; minor lifting of computer equipment may be required.
