As part of the marketing and business development department of a fast growing RF Semiconductor company, the Product Manager will assist in the product planning and deployment of Peregrine Semiconductor products throughout the product lifecycle. As the primary contact window for the sales force, the product manager must work closely with development, sales, marketing, and operations to bring world class products to market.
Responsibilities:
? Develop and maintain PRDs (product requirement documents)
? Generate business case / ROI analyses
? Coordinate with development and operations to ensure successful launch
? Follow up on action items generated through periodic customer development meetings
? Creation and maintenance of competitive cross reference library
? Compile and disseminate competitive program intelligence
? Assist in the development and execution of sales collateral:
? Product Documentation
? Spec sheets, brochures
? Product presentations
? Special promotions, new product announcements and literature
? Assist with external website product content
? Prepare and manage new product bulletins, products and delete discontinued product
? Assist in organization of customer events and trade shows
? Maintain regular contact and work with Sales to ensure proper communication
Experience, Skills and Education Required
3+ years related work experience and/or substantial product management experience in the semiconductor industry within an engineered products environment that requires significant product development and custom engineering prior to transition to production.
Sense of urgency to meet customer requirements and commitment to customer service and satisfaction
Detail oriented with strong communication skills and technical writing skills
Ability to form ad-hoc teams and drive results
Good planning, organization and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and meet established deadlines
Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus
Proven ability to drive change and create rapid, measurable improvements
Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Up to 20% travel including international travel
BSEE degree or equivalent degree required
