As a mobile social network, mbuzzy combines social features with a virtual goods offering to create an innovative, compelling, and seamless experience across the desktop and mobile devices.
In this role you will be at the nexus of design and development by overseeing the process of translating requirements into living, breathing product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize all product features generated through your original thought, market research, and contributions from internal stakeholders
- Use wireframes, flow diagrams, the white-board, and other communication techniques to produce well-documented requirements for design and development teams
- Establish a great working relationship and ongoing interaction with design and development teams to ensure your requirements are accurately delivered through the end product
Requirements
- BA or BS degree
- Prior web-based consumer Product Management experience preferably in the social media and/or mobile domains for a large-scale property
- Proven ability to lead product development process from feature conceptualization to requirements gathering and documentation to working with a cross-functional team to deliver the feature as specified on a predictable schedule
- Strong technical understanding of web technologies and capabilities
- Passion for web-based consumer products, social media, and mobile
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic, driven to get the job done.
