Based in San Mateo, CA and backed by prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firms, Caring.com is the leading online destination for people struggling with the day-to-day realities of caring for aging parents, spouses or other loved ones. We provide much needed information, emotional support and access to local care resources.
We are looking for a technical, yet creative Product Manager, to help us develop the most credible, comprehensive, and broadly available directory of senior care resources on the internet. Working closely with the engineering, UI, content and social media teams, the Product Manager will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing product development opportunities that meet the goals of the business, gathering product requirements, refining the product vision and delivering new and enhanced features in a timely manner.
Must Have Skills:
BA/BS degree from a top university; extra points for engineering or computer science degrees
Ability to distill complex issues into easy to understand requirements
Analytical horsepower and the ability to find and use data to identify, justify and prioritize products
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influence cross-functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Uncompromising attention to details
Pluses:
Experience with online lead generation
Knowledge of SEO best practices
Passion or experience in the senior care space
A competitive spirit
