Job Descriptions:
The Product Manager is responsible for delivering market-leading products that exceed company and customer objectives, working very closely with all stakeholders, including engineering, quality assurance, documentation, sales, sales engineering, support, professional services and marketing. The Product Manager will act as a key innovator and contributor in the features and presentation of the product.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed and rationalized market research, including competitive analysis, market trends, business opportunities and other success factors.
Develop detailed product requirement documents to ensure product delivery consistent with expectations.
Participate in all aspects of product development cycle./li>
Work closely with engineering and quality assurance to communicate customer needs, adjust requirements based on technical feedback, prioritize requirements, and manage changing priorities.
Research, learn and implement new technologies to develop background for successful product definition.
Employ and develop product planning and management best practices, establishing and executing reliable processes for collecting and prioritizing customer/market requirements.
Establish and maintain a strong relationship with customer facing staff as a key resource to address critical pre- and post-sales customer product issues and ultimately help drive product sales engagements to closure.
Act as primary product evangelist for the sales, customers, and the market.
Constructively raise relevant issues and risks to management and/or other corporate groups to assure they are addressed quickly.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years of directly related experience.
Strong general technical competency required.
Must be self-starting, hard-working and inquisitive.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent presentation and Powerpoint skills.
Proven track record for high quality product delivery.
In-depth understanding of the software development cycle.
Strong leadership, time management and problem solving skills.
Must work well with others of all personality types in an intense environment.
Teamwork, attention to detail, and great communication skills are a required.
Driven, creative, and results oriented.
Preferred Experience:
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) including technology, standards, and implementations.
Symmetric and asymmetric encryption key technology and use.
User interaction and UI design experience is a plus.
Datacenter application and network infrastructure knowledge is a plus.
