Description: We are seeking a highly self-motivated, energetic, experienced, Product Manager to drive Edgewater Networks? next generation configurable and hybrid Session Border Controller product line. This product is used in multitude of next generation Telco and enterprise solution architectures to drive ease of feature delivery, increase service monetization, simplify feature activation, and drive down cost of service offering.
You will be responsible for defining product strategy, target markets, applicable solutions, potential partners, product roadmap requirements, pricing, go-to-market strategy, managing product launches, and providing management updates on the product. The role will involve working closely with customers, partners, management, and all cross-functional team to plan and develop the product and take it to market.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the entire product line lifecycle including strategic planning, product development planning, solution development, and tactical activities.
Specify new and differentiating requirements for current and future products based on new technologies, conducting/analyzing market research, competitive analysis, and customer/solution-partner input.
Develop product/feature value analysis and define pricing model.
Lead cross functional product development teams and solution partners to deliver on product requirement needs.
Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy to drive product into the market, promote differentiation, grow awareness, align with partners, and drive sales.
Analyze potential partner relationships for production adoption in various solutions.
Required Skills:
5+ years of networking equipment product management experience. Service provider product management experience is a plus
Knowledgeable in routing, switching, firewall, virtualization, VoIP, Video over IP technology
Knowledgeable in finance and tools used for financial analysis?Knowledgeable in the various functional team deliverables
Computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience as Software Engineer
MBA is a strong plus
This position requires up to 25% travel
