Extend Health is seeking a Product Manager who will be responsible for leading projects through the product lifecycle, including: inception, gathering product and customer requirements, artifact documentation and prioritization. The Product Manager will collaborate with stakeholders, customers, engineering, marketing, sales and design to ensure a world class customer experience. The Product Manager's three key responsibilities are assessing product opportunities, defining the product to be built, managing the design, development and testing of the product, and deploying the product.
The position will develop maintenance and new products within Extend Health?s telephony and custom CRM environments.
Artifact creation and maintenance including process workflows and business logic documentation
Prioritize development work items and bug logs
Closely collaborate with customer stakeholders, internal departments, design, engineering, and QA
Represent the product management team and interests in cross-functional meetings
Supervise and maintain the requirement gathering process
Collect customer sign-offs on requirements (and other artifacts)
Lead projects through the agile development process (Kanban board)
Deploy initiatives to a production environment and evaluate effectiveness
3-4 years of experience supporting call center technology (telephony, IVR, and customer relationship management systems)
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Excellent writing and communication skills; requires ability to articulate complex requirements to a wide range of audiences
Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams with project management, stakeholders, design, engineering, and QA
At least 5 years of project or product management experience
Healthcare experience a plus
Vast experience in establishing, managing and maintaining telephony and CRM technology
Proficient with: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio
Experience in managing efforts using Microsoft OCS and WPF
Experience in conducting Joint Application Development requirement sessions
Experience in project management and project planning
Experience with conducting / documenting usability testing
Minimal Travel - < 10% of scheduled work hours per year. Trips may be scheduled for specific meeting with either vendors/clients at their office locations, or Extend Health?s business office in San Mateo, CA.
