PRODUCT MANAGER - TABLET INPUT Belkin Corporation
What you?ll do
As a Product Manager, you will Responsible for product development and management of new tablet input product introductions such as keyboards. The Product Manager lives and breathes his product line. He/she?s the expert in everything tablet and understands what consumers are looking for to enhance their experience. He/she will be tasked with driving product solution and development for tablet input, ensuring that we deliver innovative, competitive and top of the line global products that also build the Belkin brand. In order to successfully do this, the Product Manager will actively engage with multiple teams across functions, effectively lead cross-functional teams to deliver streamlined processes and masterfully drive the team to efficiently deliver against new product roadmap. Additionally, it is imperative that the Product Manager inspire excitement around key initiatives so all team members deliver their best performance for their division and collaborate with Regional Product Management to drive sell-in and sell-through strategies that deliver profitable sales for us, our retailers, and our partners.
How you?ll do it
Create strategic business plans for new and existing products.
Effectively partner with program management to develop exciting new product and enhance existing ones.
Provide unique selling points for products that support differentiated marketing programs, and strong retail sell-ins.
Actively track social, industry and consumer trends to ensure our product line is on-trend, and performs outstanding at retail.
Prepare budgets and break-even analyses for all new development projects. You understand finance, can comfortably read a P&L and are comfortable with numbers
Determine key product features.
Skillfully lead regional team to ensure that all appropriate products are localized in terms of packaging, product specifications, marketing collateral, etc. for the U.S., European and Asia Pacific markets.
Proactively identify possible issues that may delay development process and coordinate with cross-functional teams to address.

What you?ll need
Four-year college degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Liberal Arts or Engineering; MBA a plus
6+ years similar or related work experience within consumer electronics or consumer goods industry
Demonstrated ability, skill and willingness to supervise and train others
Strong written and verbal communications
Must be able to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment
Have the ability to successfully navigate within a matrix organization
What you?ve done
Partner with Sourcing team to negotiate great costs on great products
Write manuals, or work with technical writers to ensure that manuals for new or existing products are presented and communicated most effectively.
Ensure that Technical Support is trained on any products that may require technical support and that all needed support tools are in place for effective and seamless process.
Partner with Regional Product Management teams to build and execute business plans on a global basis.
Understand the channels in which Belkin sells its products through (Retail, distribution, online, dealers, etc.); know where our products sell through and what our top accounts are for assigned product line as well as sell-through information.
Collaborate with Marketing Department in providing sufficient information to develop appealing product packaging, documentation, bulletins, and training material.
