SummaryPlanalytics is seeking a talented, passionate Product Manager to leverage, extend and transform its SaaS product offering. The candidate will work with a tremendously talented team of meteorologists, technologists, client representatives and clients to discover, develop and market products that are valuable, usable and technically feasible. Product Management is a key to Planalytics' continued success.
Responsibilities
Maximize business value from existing product offerings.
Collaborate with executive management, customer and non-customers to identify strategies and prioritize new product offerings.
Drive a solution set across development teams (primarily Development, Operations and Marketing) through market requirements, product development, and positioning.
Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
Qualifications
5+ years of software marketing/product management experience.
Have a strong foundation in either business, technology or user experience and a passion for the other two.
Understand web application development patterns.
Speak the languages of business, technology and design.
Possess an interest in applying weather to enhance business performance.
This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites in North America and Europe (10%).
