The Product Marketing Analyst will be passionate about digital advertising and will help us continue to innovate and push the boundaries of traditional advertising models. This role requires extensive cross-functional collaboration across the organization?from Product Development to Marketing, Client Development, Sales and Executive Management. You will be responsible for crafting product messaging and positioning, assisting with the go-to-market strategy for new products and services and conceiving/developing innovative marketing programs that will help drive market awareness and demand. This individual will be a strategic thinker, hungry and ambitious to make a mark. This is a high profile position with a wealth of opportunities for professional and personal growth.
What you will do:
Product messaging ? Define product-level and feature-level messaging platforms to be used by Marketing and PR to inform outbound communications programs.
Develop differentiated, defensible positioning for our product suite in support of the Undertone corporate brand
Sales training ? Assist in the communication of product and program value propositions to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process
Sales & Marketing collateral ? create and manage a library of collateral to support our in-market efforts
Product launch ? assist in the go to market strategy for new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan, including definition of product launch readiness and success metrics in coordination with key stakeholders across the organization.
Market intelligence ? research and profile digital media buyers ? help understand how and why they buy, and how our messaging should differ between key targets
Competitive intelligence ? research and profile our core competitors ? help understand market trends and gaps in messaging that can be exploited with new products
Demand generation ? help develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand for your products
Partner closely with Product Marketing Managers across all teams to deliver against the stated marketing strategy.
1-3 experience in product marketing analysis/ product analysis/ sales analysis
BS in Marketing, Business, Statistics or related fields
A passion for digital marketing
Project management skills
Ability to translate complex and detailed information in a simplified and understandable manner
Good knowledge of the online advertising ecosystem including, but not limited to, how Networks, Rich Media companies, DSPs, Agency Trading Desks, DMPs and others all fit into the process
Excellent communicator ? written, presentation, interpersonal
Have proven ability to facilitate cross-organizational alignment
Confident, charming and a sense of humor
A Major Plus:
Experience in digital media.
