DocuSign provides the next generation cloud based electronic signature and identity management platform. We are looking for a high energy, experienced Product Marketing Director for our San Francisco office. You will lead product marketing strategy and execution for all Business Editions of DocuSign service. This includes leadership for editions already in the market, like DocuSign for Salesforce, and successful go-to-market launches for new editions which will focus on other departments (like HR, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, etc.). Success in this role will require strong marketing strategy setting skills to help prioritize our product launch roadmap, strong partner marketing skills to work on joint go-to-market plans with application partners, and even stronger product positioning, packing, and pricing skills to drive market value.
Were looking for an experienced, passionate leader with the vision, strategy, and managerial skills to establish DocuSign as the Global Industry Standard in key industry ecosystems, business departmental applications, and to drive upsell to paid services from free versions of our individual editions. The successful candidate will be a strong, influential marketing leader with a track record of enrolling sales, marketing, and product management and development resources to drive and capture business through all sales channels including our online properties, inside corporate sales, enterprise field sales, and reseller and referral partners.

Youll have a track record of building programs, and bottom line results through your own efforts and in collaboration with other cross-functional stakeholders. You must be motivated by creating cutting edge marketing programs, launch plans, and viral business models that drive dramatic growth in our network of DocuSigners, trial and paid departmental customers moving to enterprise deployment.

Specific Accountabilities
This experienced marketing leader will develop whole market product plans that include strong product positioning, packaging, pricing, promotion, with direct and partner go-to-market plans. She/he will own all up business results for this part of our business, including strategy, execution, success metrics, and results dashboards across all sales channels. This leader will work across marketing, engineering, and sales to drive DS Business Edition programs that achieve hyper-growth in the DocuSign member network, usage, and overall revenue. This leader will work directly with sales and partners to ensure all key channels are trained, equipped, and incentivized to drive success of a continually expanding set of new Business Editions for departments across small, mid-market, and enterprise customer segments.
Set and execute marketing strategy for DS Business Edition programs driving high-growth results over a multi-year time horizon consistent with the companys strategic imperatives, key objectives, and core values.
Motivate and leverage cross-functional staff to continually up-level their results, expectations, and stretch for increasingly higher levels of impact, leverage, and overall company-wide success.
Create continually expanding set of valuable business editions resulting in revenue growth through all channels.
Work very closely with all sales teams, marketing, engineering, customer success, marketing and senior leadership across the company to set clear objectives for overall product strategy, revenue targets, and results.
Lead integrated, cross functional sales, marketing, development, and support product programs focused on continually expanding revenue, usage, and driving down acquisition costs by increasing customer value.
Qualifications
Track record of increasing marketing leadership responsibilities in product marketing, product management, channel marketing, and demand generation programs through multi-channel and online business models.
10+ years of experience in marketing, general management, and/or partnering working in high-tech companies, with experience scaling start-ups to billion dollar valuation levels.
Deep experience owning all aspects of the marketing mix including positioning, packaging, pricing, promotion, and sales channel strategy and execution.
High energy and motivational leadership driven by personal influence and example with staff, peers, and senior leaders across all company functions.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills, outstanding creative instincts and track-record, and extremely high bar for production quality, core metrics, and leveraged models for success.
Passion for driving market adoption for innovative cloud based applications that improve the world. Commitment to making this more of an adventurous mission than a job on our quest for ubiquity.
Experience with international business management and willingness to travel with our business.
BS in Marketing, Sales, or General Management, MBA strongly preferred.
