About the Position
The ExactTarget Marketing Cloud team is looking for a product marketing leader who is dynamic, creative, and has great interpersonal skills to help differentiate and grow our business. This sought after individual will help us deliver compelling and differentiated messages, position us effectively vs. the competition and help us hit it out of the park with our business goals. We are looking for someone to help drive the positioning and go-to-market strategies for Marketing Cloud while empowering our sales teams with product knowledge and competitive tools. A big part of the job will include a deep understanding of our product offerings, creating compelling presentations that convey our vision and strategy, understanding market needs and trends, and collaborating with campaigns to deliver innovative marketing programs to grow bookings and customer adoption. Evangelizing our solutions at scale to both internal and external audiences is a big part of the role.
?Work with the industry's most innovative product marketing team to develop highly differentiated product messaging
?Create compelling and easy to understand presentations to convey our vision for the market, product strategy, features, benefits, customer successes and more
?Create killer tools and content that enable our sales team to scale our messages and value to prospects and existing customers
?Develop competitive marketing materials and messaging based on competitive research to differentiate the ExactTarget Marketing Cloud offerings in the market
?Deeply understand how customers use the Marketing Cloud to drive measurable business results and ROI
?Create inspiring and compelling product demos and customer videos to use for events and web marketing
?Interact with customers and prospects to build personas and understand customer needs to drive product requirements
?Collaborate with product management to identify customer use cases and prioritized needs to influence future product development
?10+ years experience in product marketing in a high tech company (enterprise software experience preferred)
?Experience developing graphically interesting and compelling presentations and collateral. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Keynote and Photoshop a plus
?Experience with marketing automation, email, web, social media and mobile technology strongly preferred
?Proven track record in performing well in a fast pace environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively
?Strong public speaking skills and experience presenting to small and large audiences
?Willingness and supported track record of collaborating with sales organization to win deals
?Strong communications and writing skills and ability to work well cross functionally
?Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content
?MBA a plus (but we also like brilliant people who didn't go to business school...)
?A sense of humor, and grace under pressure
