Position Overview: The Product Manager (PM) will play an important role in the execution of the annual marketing plan with a focus on achieving the brand?s short-term and longer-term business objectives. The Product Manager will help define and evolve the Neighborhood Diabetes brand, and product portfolio. The PM will lead and drive a wide variety of marketing projects, from market research to service offerings, pricing, advertising, customer relationship management programs, external events and online marketing activities.
JOB / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and develop product portfolio and service offerings reviewing market data, opportunities and current business trends.
Define Neighborhood brand and insure brand is well communicated and represented across all mediums.
Lead the development of corporate and product marketing materials to ensure continuity of corporate identity and product branding; manage internal and external resources to execute deliverables.
Develop and manage the marketing budget and timelines in support of the business and brand objectives. Provide monthly updates and reports on accruals and expenses.
Partner with Field Sales and Sales Training for the roll-out of materials and initiatives.
Partner with the broader Marketing team and Field Sales to understand needs and incorporate input into marketing tactics.
Lead efforts to review, maintain and enhance the company website.
Analyze results of product/survey offerings, surveys, campaigns using statistical analysis.
Develop and manage relationships with patient advocacy groups, payor groups and other special interest societies.
Maintain working knowledge of diabetes industry leaders and their products.
Conduct research, gather information, and distribute industry research and news from a variety of resources.
Knowledge / Education
Bachelor?s degree in business or other relevant field
Master?s degree/MBA preferred.
Outstanding communications/relationship management skills
Strong analytical skills ? able to measure, interpret and communicate data trends simply and effectively
Minimum 4 years of marketing or other relevant experience required.
Healthcare industry experience required.
Diabetes knowledge and medical device and/or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
