Product Marketing ManagerThe Product Marketing Manager will help define the messaging, positioning and global go-to-market efforts to advance the company's SaaS-based social commerce solutions. (This is a 100% outbound focused role).
We are seeking an individual who is results-oriented, innovative and has a passion for creating compelling messaging and positioning that drives sales results. This individual will have a broad skill-set, including: the ability to write compelling copy, create content for demand generation, present to live audiences, plan successful product launches, enable sales success through tools & training and define value propositions for new markets.
This is a hands-on Product Marketing position requiring someone who is a self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. S/he should also be comfortable working collaboratively with different teams and executive stakeholders in the company on multiple, concurrent projects.
Job Responsibilities- Create superlative messaging that has a significant impact on the company's success
- Develop effective presentations that tell a compelling story.
- Develop a plan to succeed in new verticals.
- Drive sales results through effective tools and training; be accountable for sales targets.
- Lead Customer Marketing efforts, including case study creation, video interviews, and webinar speaking engagements.
- Drive Partner Marketing efforts through joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Develop messaging for key product launches, press interviews and live events.
- Tell customer success stories through testimonials and case studies.
- Write periodic blog posts and participate in the company's social media activities.
- Manage internal and external resources to achieve maximum impact.
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS/software marketing.
- Content-creation skills are a must have. Must provide writing samples.
- Strong writing and story-telling skills; knack for crisp and effective messaging. Able to tell stories through PowerPoint and other media.
- Creative, entrepreneurial thinker and risk-taker.
- Extensive experience working with B2B sales forces, including enterprise deal support, sales tool creation, sales training and certification, and objection handling.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated track record of competitive analysis, market sizing and entry, and financial analysis.
- Experience in SaaS strongly desired but not required.
- Active, current blogging and social media participation desirable but not required.
- Ability to be self-motivated and deliver projects on time with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
