Product Marketing Manager
The Product Marketing Manager position performs a key role in bringing technology products to market. This role involves creation of go-to-market strategy for assigned products, providing value propositions for marketing and sales program activities, delivering sales training and sales-enablement tools, and managing effectiveness of quarterly product marketing plans. Delivery of compelling product positioning and content is an important success criteria for the role.
The Product Marketing Manager works with members of Executive Management, Product Management, R&D, Corporate Marketing and the Sales organization and serves as the primary owner and subject matter expert of the market strategy for assigned products.
Mastery in defining, managing and evolving a differentiated positioning and messaging for CopperEgg products and markets. Must develop customer collaterals and marketing programs accordingly.
Understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape that affect product demand and direction.
Ability to effectively represent products, markets and strategies to customers and partners through social media, written and other communications.
Knowledge in launch of new products and releases and managing the cross-functional implementation of the plan working with product management, operations, marketing and sales.
Sales enablement ? communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
Market intelligence ? be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them
5+years in technology product marketing, product management or pre-sale
Experience with application performance monitoring platforms and technology is a plus
Demonstrated ability to learn new and complex technologies so that concepts can be communicated at all levels of the organization
Outstanding oral and written communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills
Experience with market sizing, segmentation and competitive intelligence
Experience working with customers to understand requirements, position solutions and develop differentiated offerings and GTM plan
