This key member of the Product Marketing team will report directly to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and be responsible for go-to-market and sales enablement of Imperva?s File Security products ? a new, high-growth product family. Working alongside the marketing, product management and business development teams, the PMM will apply domain expertise and writing skills to the creation of sales enablement tools, messaging, positioning, packaging and pricing in support of product launches, sales efforts and corporate marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Increase effectiveness of the Sales organization and drive market adoption of the File Security product line through the following activities
Create datasheets, brochures, whitepapers, case studies, presentations and web-site content
Work with product management, sales and business development on future releases, go-to-market plans and product launches.
Train the sales and pre-sales organizations on product capabilities and competitive differentiation
Review and respond to request for proposals (RFPs).
Perform competitive and market analyses of competing products? features, pricing, positioning, and packaging. Formulate competitive responses to improve sales and marketing effectiveness
Present Imperva?s products during sales calls, corporate events and other external audiences
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in a product marketing role for a security or compliance product
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Solid experience in preparing and delivering presentations?in person and via webcast
Ability to translate complex concepts and technologies into business-oriented value propositions
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
Ability to work with a globally dispersed, cross cultural team
