About the Position:
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy to drive the revenue growth for Oddcast web properties and products. This key role encompasses overall responsibility for communication, creative, and product-related efforts aimed at accelerating customer acquisition and enhancing customer retention. The Product Marketing Manager also owns utilization & optimization of marketing budgets critical to the growth of the business. This is a hands-on position.
Responsibilities Include:
Work closely with CEO to refine & execute strategy for the business including product specifications, positioning, pricing and distribution strategies.
Create product specifications & collaborate with engineers to refine and enhance product features and usability.
Develop and execute cost-effective media buy programs integrating display ads, search marketing, emails and social media to drive customer acquisition across multiple products. Manage, optimize, and scale a monthly budget of approximately $20K.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (e.g. revenue, account growth, churn rate, lifetime value) & website metrics; derive actionable insights.
Lead in-house communication programs; grow and segment in-house mailing list to send newsletters, promotions, account-related messages.
Direct internal and external creative force to develop a wide range of marketing material including campaign creative, landing pages, and advertorials.
Manage the website and online store; use analytics to analyze and optimize performance.
Requirements Include:
2 years of relevant experience.
MBA with marketing focus preferred.
Experience with online direct-response marketing, such as media buys, search engine marketing, web analytics, etc.
Knowledge of marketing metrics (e.g. CPA, CPM, CTR, ROI, conversion rate, churn).
Familiarity with web-based subscription products, experience with product specification, a good eye for UI and design.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability is a must.
Strong communication skills are essential with an emphasis on writing.
