Product Marketing Manager/Optical Ethernet Integrated Photonics Technology, Inc.
IPITEK, a leading manufacturer of Broadband networking products, is searching for an Optical Ethernet Product Marketing Manager to champion and promote IPITEKs Advanced Optical Ethernet Product Line.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Subject matter expert in Carrier Ethernet technologies and market trends, especially new standards work at MEF, IEEE and ITU as it relates to Carrier Ethernet.
- Conducting competitive analysis.
- Work with product management on launch plans and strategies.
- Help product management in developing and managing product line roadmap.
- Articulate product strengths, positioning, messaging and selling strategies.
- Preparation of sales and marketing collateral.
- Investigate new sales channels and / or market segments.
- Evangelizing products and solutions internally and externally to the company.
- Establishing and managing OEM partner relationships.
- Preparing and conducting product training.
- Developing effective sales tools including presentations, data sheets and application notes.
- Presenting at industry seminars, conferences and trade shows.
- Assisting with Applications Engineering tasks, including responding to RFPs and Gigabit Ethernet network design.
Required Qualifications:
- BSEE, MSEE, or equivalent and 10+ years of working experience in broadband systems.
- Must be able to work closely with sales, marketing, engineering and technology partners and must have effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of video communications links, optical transmission systems and CATV/broadcast networks.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Gigabit Ethernet and Internet Protocol Technology.
- Minimum of 3 years in product marketing and management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent PC, Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to travel.
Ideal candidate has::
- At least five years of experience and a deep understanding of modern network architectures and cost effective design.

- Knowledge of video communications links, optical transmission systems and CATV/broadcast networks.
