The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for a diverse product line. The Product Marketing Manager will craft the messaging and positioning for products and conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail, and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is critical. The Product Marketing Manager will be the expert in understanding buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the positioning and messaging of the products.
RequirementsThis is a complex position, requiring technical knowledge of the telecommunications or IT/Cloud industry and products as well as general knowledge of fundamental marketing disciplines such as marketing communications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop and deliver presentations to management level audience.
?Bachelor?s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field or the equivalent in training and experience.
?At least 5 years of experience in marketing within telecommunications or IT/Cloud services, combined with at least 2 years of experience in product and channel marketing
?Strong leadership and general business management skills
?Skills that effectively develop relationships; prioritization skills; detail orientation and ability to meet inflexible deadlines.
?Computer experience including power point, word processing, database and spreadsheet programs.
Preferred Skills and Credentials:
