Product Marketing Manager PlayNetwork
?In collaboration with Sales and Innovation, the Product Marketing Manager will partner with the VP of Marketing, to execute PlayNetwork?s product marketing strategy. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, execution and measurement of PlayNetwork?s GTM strategy for existing and future solutions.
The Product Marketing Manager will serve as the point of input for prioritizing, planning, customer and market insight to Product Management to plan, define, and prioritize product development. The person in this role should be an expert on our customers (both current and targeted), a source for understanding needs and values by segment.
Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. The Product Marketing Manager will be an expert in consumer behavior and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following is a list of evolving job responsibilities for the Product Marketing Manager position.
Collaborate with Innovation to define the product marketing strategy while providing inputs for prioritizing, planning and product vision.
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates PlayNetwork?s solutions in the market.
Ability to contribute and impact business and financial modeling discussions cross organization.
Plan and execute the launch of new products and releases while managing the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
Collaborate with the sales team to gather insights and present solutions to accelerate sales, including training, sales tools, demo?s and related assets to support the sales cycle.
Collaborate with Corporate Marketing to execute demand generation by
solution, target audience and value proposition. Execute and measure campaign performance to scale globally.
Market intelligence ? be the expert on our clients, and their consumers.
Must gain a solid understanding of our clients? needs, values by segment, behaviors and related customer insights.
End of Life analysis and discontinuation of products/services.
Travel: Approximately 25%
?5+ years of software product marketing experience
Bachelor?s in business or marketing
Very strong written communication skills
Willing to travel 25%.
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
Proven ability to think strategically and execute marketing campaigns with excellence.
Extensive writing experience.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to collaborate with management peers inside and outside marketing.
Has a strong sense of the external environment and the competitive landscape.
Experience with SalesForce and Marketo is ideal.
Required Skills and Abilities
?Experience across traditional branding channels (on and offline) with a passion for digital media.
Attention to detail is critical.
A strong program manager/project manager comfortable with multi-tasking will be successful in this role.
Strong track record of building high performance teams through strong hiring practices and dedication to performance management, training and retention initiatives; the ability to lead, mentor and empower teams.
Demonstrated ability to integrate creative and strategic planning into cohesive communications planning that builds brands, drives traffic, accelerates conversation and impacts revenue.
Entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for building business and the ability to work across a matrix environment
Dynamic, Innovative marketer with strong analytical skills, business acumen and industry presence.
Excellent oral and written presentation/persuasion and negotiation skills.
Background in design, communications and brand strategy.
