What we are looking for:
We?re passionate about building simple and elegant products that our customers love. We?re looking for a Product Marketing Manager who can communicate and market our products into the enterprise market. The individual will represent the public face of the product and must be creative, aggressive and have experience in the areas of developing winning strategies, building collateral, designing and executing webinars, presenting at trade shows, managing sections of the website and working closely with product, engineering and outbound marketing teams.
The individual will be responsible for all aspects of product marketing from strategy to hands-on implementation. Our customers range from high-end Global 2000 companies all the way to small & medium sized business. The individual must have the versatility to work across the dozens of industry segments that span the enterprise & SMB space.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing strategy ? create a cohesive, multi-channel strategy for growing year-over-year sales and evolving our market-leading position
Messaging ? develop product positioning and messaging to differentiate our offerings and highlight the value proposition in the market
Sales enablement ? build the sales tools that support and accelerate the sales cycle, including highly tailored content for presentations, demonstrations, datasheets, white papers, and customer case studies
Product launch ? plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
Competitive intelligence ? conduct competitive analysis and develop sales briefs that highlight competitive advantage
Demand generation ? support demand generation activities with collateral and messaging to drive demand for our products
Audience marketing ? connect, build and sustain our relationships with our customer base via webinars, blogging, user conferences, and email marketing
Evangelism ? promote our solutions to partners, prospects and customers through training, webinars, participation in industry events, social media, onsite visits and more
The ideal candidate will have?
Demonstrated track record in the development and management of B2B marketing programs and product launches
Proven ability to understand and effectively communicate key messages to the intended audience through collateral, presentations, webinars, videos, web content, thought leadership and case studies
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling language
Experience with marketing automation software (marketo, eloqua, etc.)
Excellent project management and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional written and communication skills
B2B ad buying experience a plus
4+ years in product marketing or product management for a software company
Bachelor's degree is required. MBA a plus.
