Product Marketing Manager Silver Spring Networks

This person will work closely with the director of product marketing to develop marketing materials that explain the innovation, applications, and benefits of Silver Spring?s industry-leading solutions. The product marketing manager will be expected to work closely with product management and sales teams to develop presentations, white papers, and other collateral that help customers and prospects understand our offerings.
The product marketing manager:
Develops a range of sales tools and other content that promote the value of Silver Spring?s solutions
Understands the operation of the breadth of Silver Spring solutions
Builds presentations, white papers, solution briefs for product launches that communicate the operation and benefits of our technology
Collects product information from a variety of sources, extracts the high-level messages and value statements, and presents the information in a clear, concise fashion
Develops financial (TCO), customer-specific (case study), and competitive (SWOT) information that makes clear the value Silver Spring delivers
Works closely and collaboratively with Product Management to understand technical details of our solutions
Continually seeks input from Sales on effectiveness of existing materials and areas where new materials are needed
Good understanding of technology essential ? networking knowledge a strong plus
Excellent interpersonal as well as written and oral communication skills
Comfortable in a dynamic, intense environment
Hands-on style, delivering materials quickly and efficiently
Able to be productive in a lean operating environment with minimal support
Minimum of six years in technology product marketing
At least two years experience in a high-growth late-stage private company, ideally serving large enterprise customers
Background in IT, communications networking, hardware, software
Substantial hands-on experience in delivering collateral and sales tools
