We?re is looking for an experienced product marketer that will manage a portfolio of innovative SaaS and mobile travel and expense management products and launch new products to market targeting the small and mid-sized business segment. Our candidate has a strong track record marketing cloud-based consumer or business solutions, a flair for developing messaging and positioning for the SMB buyer, deep experience building vertiical and persona-based sales enablesment tools, and a proven ability to collaborate with product management and development teams to bring new innovations to market.
Position reports to the Senior Director, SMB Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage positioning and messaging for a portfolio of travel booking and expense management products targeted at small and mid-sized businesses
Build and maintain internal sales tools including datasheets, presentations, videos, talk tracks, etc.
Develop in-funnel marketing tools to assist in business case creation, e.g. ROI calculators, customer case studies
Collaborate with marketing, product management and sales training teams to ensure consistency of message across web, print, and sales collateral
Conduct market research, lead focus groups, and engage in an on-going dialog with customers and non-customers
Lead cross-functional teams to launch new products into the marketplace
Lead competitive and market intelligence for the small and mid-sized business segments
Serve as the internal and external evangelist for the SMB segment
Interact with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Business Development, Support, and External Customers
Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
Position Requirements
Education, Experience & Training required:
BS/BA in Marketing or equivalent is required. Pursuit of higher education (MBA for example) or specialized training preferred.
5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager within a SaaS or consumer app provider
2+ years cloud solution marketing experience
Experience delivering software solutions to small and mid-sized businesses
Experience with equipping and supporting sales professionals.
Ability to pass a background check.
